Each year under the direction of the NAHB Leading Supplier Council (LSC) The New American Home® (TNAH) and The New American Remodel ® (TNAR) show homes are constructed for the International Builders’ Show®.
At time of presentation these homes showcase the building industry’s best design concepts, state-of-the-art products and the latest construction techniques. The homes are widely promoted through local and national news outlets, network television and trade publications.
As a participant in the project since 2016, Scena has supplied the NAHB Leading Supplier Council (LSC) 3D digital twin services documenting each project using Matterport 3D technology and recently including Leica BLK360 laser scanners for exterior reality capture. Since implenting 3D virtual tours as part of the annual project LSC has used digital twins to capture the as-buildt states during construction and final completion.
Digital twins allow the LSC to accomplish their primary goal of highlight project sponsors’ contributions in use in a realistic home setting. Post show models are shared throughout the year to the NAHB membership through promotion and seminars creating lasting return on marketing investments.
Previous year models are documented serving as a time capsules and used for industry professionals for inspiration, implementation and reference.
